Gold Magenta for this Mood Challenge Board 11.
I just love the colours in this challenge. I incorporated them into my Christmas cards for this year.
I experimented for the first time with Grunge Paste and mixed in some Perfect Pearls, Distress Ink and Modge Podge, all onto some scrap white watercolour paper from a sketch book from the $2 dollar store. I cut out parts of previous years Christmas cards we received and made them the focal point to the card. I also used pages from a book that was very old and had the pages all nicely aged (thanks for the book Berton!). I had the Perfect Pearls for years and finally got to use them again! Some embellishments and paper are from Lime Tart www.limetart.com.au.
Here are some of the cards. I was very happy the way it turned out. I will use the other Mood Boards to create a different colour scheme for the Christmas cards. Some of these cards will go to my Crafty friends and I will need to make more for other friends, so I better get to it!
Thanks Jot Magazine for the Mood Board Challenge and giving me inspiration. Thanks to all the entrants in the challenge for all those creative ideas!
